The Dojutsu or eye technique are ninja skills that are genetically inherited and passed down from generation to generation. Each DoJutsu are different from each other and possesses different abilities and the strength of the DoJutsu varies from the user - the more skilled the user, the stronger DoJutsu is.The Byakugan and the Sharingan are DoJutsus which are found in Konoha. The Byakugan belonging to the Hyuuga Clan while the Sharingan belongs to the Uchiha clan. Families with Jutsus like the Byakugan and the Sharingan are respected and considered to be important and noble in the konoha.
The Sharingan and the Byakugan both possesses strengths and weaknesses.
The Byakugan:
The Byakugan is the DoJutso of the Hyuuga clan. The physical appearance of the Byakugan is an eye with white pupil. When the Byakugan is activated, the veins in the eyes bulge and the pupil seems to appear clearer.
The Hyuuga family are very strict in keeping their secret thats why they created the "branch and main" family. If you belong to the main family, you are considered as a royal family while the branch family has to wear a cursed seal in their foreheads. The main family can kill a member of the branch family by using a hand seal that will activate the cursed seal. The cursed seal in the foreheads is used to protect the hyuugas secret especially when captured by enemies. The hyuuga cursed seal bearer automatically dies once a member of the main family activates the cursed seal through a mental jutsu.
Famous byakugan user are of course the hyuugas (Neji, Hinata, Hanabi..)
Strength:
*Posses almost 360 degrees of vision.
*Can see internal chakras.
*X-Ray like and telescopic vision.
*The byakugan user, the hyuugas, can use the gentle fist that can disrupts chakra flow of the opponent.
Weakness:
*Has a blindspot, somewhere in the back.
*Looks freaky. (to me)
The Sharingan:
The Sharingan is the DoJutsu of the Uchiha clan. The physical eye appearance is a black pupil eye and when activated, it turns red with black "wheel like" inside it. TheSharingan has 2 varieties, the basic sharingan and the more powerful mangekyu sharingan.
Famous sharingan users are sasuke, kakashi, itachi, obito and madara.
Strength:
*Can see fast movements.
*Can see internal chakras.
*Can copy other ninja techniques.
*Can create gen jutsus.
*Has access to unknown and powerful techniques.
Weaknesses:
*When overused, the sharingan user losses its vision and the sharingan power at all.
which DoJutsu you prefer? I think ill go with the byakugan. I know the sharingan is more powerful but the Byakugan for me is more noble, the sharingan is kinda devilish hehehehehe and the uchiha is kinda cursed! I dont wanna be a part of their clan hehehe
